Little Yengo Gallery

The Aboriginal paintings and artefacts in this award winning gallery embody the meaning of Wollombi , ‘meeting place’. Artists, both local and from afar share tradition and continuous connections with country. As many of our artists live in remote areas of Australia, this not-for- profit gallery is run and maintained by community volunteers. Please come and enjoy our ever-changing works, the stories they tell and videos of local corroborees.

The Old Fireshed Gallery

The old fireshed was converted to a much-needed gallery space for our local artists to display their works in 2003. The dimensions of the exhibition space are 9m x 6m.

The Old Fireshed Gallery is situated behind the Wollombi Cultural Centre in the main street of Wollombi, and holds regular exhibitions throughout the year. To book the gallery for an exhibition or other cultural or arts related function, please contact artscouncil@wollombi.org
