Wollombi Corroboree

The first corroboree held in NSW in fifty years took place in 1989 on a property near Wollombi as a gesture to the community for being the first in Australia to support a land rights claim.

A celebration of culture including dances and performers from around NSW, the corroboree is a vital link in keeping Aboriginal culture alive, and invigorates the spirit of the land.

Strongly supported by the Wollombi community it presents an opportunity for Aboriginal culture to be shared with indigenous and non-indigenous people alike.

The corroboree promotes connection with culture and the spirit of the land.
