HEFTY FAB – Small Sculpture Exhibition

Don’t miss this intriguing exhibition of small sculptures by a number of artists participating in Sculpture in the Vineyards 2015. Christiane Keys-Statham, curator of SinV and this show, says the Fab of the title refers to the experimental, awe-inspiring and dynamic fabrication methods employed by the artists. Hefty implies that these works, although small in scale, pack considerable conceptual weight.

EXHIBITION: Open weekends 10am – 4pm, from Saturday 14 – Sunday 29 November 2015.

NEXT SHOW

Summer Exhibition ‘Hot Ice’. Recent paintings by members of Steve James’ art group.

HEFTY FAB – Small Sculpture Exhibition

Hefty Fab is an exhibition curated by Christiane Keys-Statham, the curator of Sculpture in the Vineyards 2015. The exhibition opens at the Old Fire Shed Gallery on 14 November and runs until 29 November, and features small sculptures by some of the SINV 2015 artists.

Although the show is indeed fabulous, the Fab of the title actually refers to the experimental, awe-inspiring and dynamic fabrication methods employed by the artists. The Hefty of the exhibition title implies that these works, though small in stature, also pack considerable conceptual weight.
